Installing Linux Mint on your PC has never been easier, this distribution is packed full of popular software ready for you to get started, this walk through will help you to get started using Linux, with a nicely done interface that allows you many options for setting up your system in many ways from full disk encryption to an encrypted user space or a simple installation. There are several variations of Linux Mint available for download that will fit most user needs, with several desktops available giving you a complete and fully customizable operating system that is user-friendly and well documented.
Installing Linux Mint
1.) Download ISO.
Visit the info page for Linux Mint which contains links to the downloads, documentation and forums.
2.) Create Install Media.
Depending on the age of your machine you may have several options on how to create the installation media, aether a bootable disk or a bootable thumb drive. After downloading the ISO file simply burn it to a disk or create your USB thumb drive and insert it into the computer.
3.) Boot Installation Media.
Note: You may be required to specify the boot order of your machines CMOS or BIOS. Allowing your machine to boot to your install media.
4.) Begin Installation.
Once your system has fully loaded the live desktop you have the options to explore the distribution a bit before you actually install it on your computer, after you are finished exploring click on the Install icon on the live desktop to begin the installation.
5.) Select Language.
Choose your language from the list on the left and click continue.
6.) Prepare to Install.

7.) Installation Type.
